>>42463282Honestly? Yeah. I never got that feeling with another mainline game aside from X/Y. When I was playing SWSH I felt like I was playing a clone of Pokemon or a romhack. It's hard to explain but something about the world and just how the game felt to play felt so shallow and empty. There was no magic or sense of adventure aside from in the Wild Area to an extent.
In general they feel like something that was made for the hell of it instead of them wanting to make a great game. Some good ideas were there but they were too scared to go all the way and potentially alienate players, or because they weren't used to the new hardware.
