And I can’t agree with everything going downhill after Akala, Akala is good because it is not linear at all, but Ula’Ula is good too, they make you go back many times to access another place, and please, understand every island in Alola offers one thing. Every island has pros and cons, and at the end everything is just Alola.
Melemele is linear but offers lots of branches to explore and some good optional places.
Akala has not great optional places but still has some branches and it’s the less linear island.
Ula’Ula has maybe the best optional places is not as linear as Melemele and has branches. Like a mix. But it’s also an island you are not able to fully see in your first visit.
And then Poni is more like story-focused, most of it is nature, a good part of it is for postgame and focuses the exploration inside the Poni Canyon.
