>>42480919Same guy here, my answer is Pokemon would never release such a design UNLESS it is a ghost type (see Rotom), Pokemon is not based around fighting elemental creatures, rather on traversing magical nature paths. The creatures are magical animals. You will never see a pure wind/fire elemental. The closest to these are Ghastly and Rotom. So to answer you, it will be Ghost-Ghoul-Spirit type with Flame Body ability and a Fire movepool.
If you want this to be a physical creature like say Magmar, then it is an Oni-Troll-Dark type with Flame Body.(Basically the reason I inserted this type in the first place)
The logic of this system is that Poison type weaknesses do not make sense (they do though as resistances (fat ground types endure poison, Psychics heal wounds)). And in that Fire and Electric weakness do not make sense as creature designs of those types are never, say, pure passive flames with eyes. Thus, a Ponyta might even be resistant to getting soaked for example. Fire-Breathers, Venom-spitters, and Electro-Dischargers rarely share any physical trait with the element they control.
tl;dr either Ghost or Dark type with a Fire Ability and movepool
