Although many scenes show characters talking and you can still tell who is talking for the most part, there are certain "creative shots" where you can't see anyone's face, so that makes it trickier.
Avery/Klara somehow still have a functioning "???" name tag in their one scene in the train station, which is important because it helps clarify whether they are talking or the generic station worker. This is evidence they didn't intend to remove the name tags in general and somehow fucked up.
