If you want a level cap, that's fine, plenty of fangames and romhacks put one in where it just stops you from levelling until you get the next badge. But it does this stupid shit where your pokemon overlevels and then won't listen to you, so if you're stuck at a gym and can get a few pokemon down but don't win you'll overlevel and the pokemon that do will then be worthless so you have to either switch them out, hope the RNG is on your side, or go get common candy. But the penalties for losing are really high, so you'll be completely destitute after a few losses, so you have to grind the one fight in the little starting area which is the only one you can repeat at least at the point I made it to that doesn't even give you enough money for a single common candy and I HATE IT I HATE IT I HATE YOU FUCKING BUG BITCH DOUBLES ARE FUCKING STUPID NO ONE TOLD ME THERE WERE DOUBLES IN THIS GAME I DIDN'T BUILD FOR IT AT ALL
