How would you feel about it if this was added as a type? Obviously it would retcon Porygon's type, but that has happened to Normal types in the past. (Fairy)
The only reason I could see this type make sense lore-wise is if a new evil team were mass-producing new manmade Pokémon in an attempt to conquer a region.
How would the type work? The only obvious interaction I can think of is Electric type, possibly being supereffective because it disrupts the signal/code that makes up these Pokémon.
