We know they retconned that animals never existed besides Humans, but since the recent additions of regional variants and the confirmation that the Pokémon world has natural selection... Where did Humans come from?
My current theory is that they were brought to the Pokémon multiverse after Arceus found them in our universe and got curious/fell in love/wanted Humans to interact with Pokémon like the did animals.
