Bad news first:
- There are no DPPt remakes
- Let's Go replacing remakes
- Let's Go Togepi and Marill 2021
- Start with box baby, they are super swole like Pika and Eevee
Good news:
- Pseudo-remake of Crystal, takes place in alternate timeline or something
- Also choose from 3 starters at New Bark, they can evolve
- Other starters catchable in the wild early in the game (Chikorita route 30, Totodile route 33, Cyndaquil route 34)
- Battle wild pokemon if you want (toggle)
- Return of PokeAthlon from HGSS
- Aiming to be more feature-packed than HGSS
- "Johto Forms" and "Kanto Forms"
A handful of pokemon have Johto forms and Kanto forms, oddly enough mostly Hoenn pokemon, and not really many strong or popular ones. Not sure why. For example, a white fluffy normal type Poochyena, Mightyena, and normal/Ice Rescyena, a huge fluffy dog with non-visible eyes (too fluffy) with a rope necklace holding a big green berry at the center, with a tap pegged into it, as if you could pour a glass of berry juice from it. You can catch Poochyena and Mightyena in the ice path before Blackthorne. Another example are Dark/Ghost Seviper and Normal/Ghost Zangoose, caught on routes 12 and 13 in Kanto. These pokemon both have pokedex descriptions implying that they continued fighting the other respective species into the afterlife.
