Just because RNG exists in the form of accuracy, critical hit, etc. doesn't mean it's anything like simply throwing balls at Pokemon and hoping the RNG says they got caught
At least with real wild Pokemon there's a minor amount of strategy and attrition through applying status effects and dealing with the constant chip damage from the wild Pokemon
