I've already jumped the gun and started remaking my parts of my original Diamond team I currently can.

I'm glad to see Volcarona but not thrilled at all that the tapus are coming back because I feel like there's no way Showdown will make an OG Galardex-only format and that kind of constrained format is exactly what I wanted.

I just want all the fossil mons back. Seeing aurorus is promising, but it's in the crown tundra dlc pack so I wouldn't be surprised if it was a one-off (I would be even less surprised if it wasn't even a fossil mon anymore).

Yeah but I like Volcarona.
I'm sick of the tapus and don't want to see them in OU ever again. I was hoping that the national dex being cut would mean we'd see old legendaries drop to the NatDex format where I can safely ignore them, but it seems that's not the case.

Not to mention Volcarona (pre-Gen-8) was nowhere near as overpowered. Now that it's got Pebble Pals immunity with its slick Timbs, and all the Megas and Z-moves are gone, there's very little that can stop it.

Unironically, the only thing that'll be more terrifying is DDance Garchomp.

Regional-dex only is gay, especially because the current Galar-dex is cancer. Like, unironic cancer. Metastasized, malevolent cancer. It's pure stall garbage where every team has at least 2 of the following:

This is the most stall heavy meta since Gen 2. It's the second most stall heavy meta in Pokemon history, beating out the relatively fat Gen 1.

It's more than bland as it is. Just take solace in knowing that Heatran will chase away the current top dog (Clefable), which is even more bland and infuriating.

Plus, the old legends will probably be banned to ubers, for the most part. No Genesect or Kyurem-B in OU, especially since Kyurem-B got a hefty movepool buff and now is an actual threat physically.
