>>42519398In all fairness to the (now decaying) argument my reasoning is that there's a way to make something be on two legs without making it look like it was designed by a furry. Rillaboom is a great example to me of this, as well as Typhlosion, Empoleon, and Sceptile. They all look like distinct animals (Gorilla/Ape, Badger, Penguin, Gecko) but they all not only stand on two legs but all of them except for Typhlosion have human elements to them that don't overwhelm the design (except for, arguably, the drum sticks that Rillaboom holds, but even then they're not very noticeable and it's easy to look past them when the base design is so solid). Other solid examples of starters who walk on two legs and look like a pokemon without being furry bait are Blastoise and Charizard, Feralitgatr, Infernape, Emboar, and Decidueye. Do they still have porn made of them? Yes because this is the fucking internet, but they're distinctly un-furry because they look extremely bestial and non-anthropomorphic.
Some designs straddle the line, like Greninja and Blaziken, but I feel like those two don't leap over it like Cinderace and, more importantly, Intelleon does. Cinderace has extremely exaggerated, large foppish feet that are highly detailed (like most furry OCs), yet it's put onto legs that are distinctly human rather than a rabbit like leg. This results in it looking less like a rabbit and more like it came out of a foot fetishist's wet dream because the way it stands on them emphasizes how big they fucking arm. Then we get to it's "shorts", like it's a anthro bunny wearing sports clothes, and the head resembles a rabbit only in passing, being much more a fusion of human and rabbit features with exaggerated ears. Lastly, it's arms are extremely small and chubby, and it's hands are practically non-existent nubs. It just looks so...off.
