But why? There are better games releasing in the same month like Persona 5 Royal and Animal Crossing. Supporting this would tell devs that it is okay to get away with these cashgrabs.

I did.
I also played Super and thought they were some of the best mechanics set in the entire series.
If you want to tell me something that's actually negative about the game, try discussing actually negative things. Like the texture filter acting like that cartoon Network show Chowder at times. It's barely noticable but distracting if the camera in the town ever freezes when you approach a map corner.
Lack of A attack is gonna be a big plus honestly because now pp management is relevant to main story.
Having to say no new Pokemon when they added new Pokemon is kinda hilarious since this is a remake and not a complete dumping of everything from Super. It'll better preserve the nostalgia factor of the game whether you'd like to admit it or not.

Mystery Dungeon is dead anyway after chocobo mystery dungeon sold so terribly. Franchise was dead regardless. Pokemon's lead developers killed its own franchise. I take no shame in getting the last good thing that'll ever come out of Pokemon.

This is obviously just for the demo/first few dungeons, the X Ray Specs are still in the game.

Should have just made a sequel. Also people here make it sound like Mystery Dungeon sucked for a long time and that's sad. I preferred it over mainline games.

As if dojo didn't make the main quest trivial in originals. But you wouldn't know i guess.

kinda my thoughts on it. Originals were my favorite Pokemon Spin Off of all time, and with this we're at least guaranteed a DECENT product. Plus if it sells well they could see a market for it and release more Mystery Dungeon games.

Probably, but I'd like to think we'd get requests for special shit like that. The Post game for the originals were huge, so capitalizing on that would be great, like getting Kyogre and Groudon's Primal forms or something.

I didn't even bother getting any mainline game after Y because they all looked like steaming garbage, but I've always loved the MD series so I hope they don't fuck it up majorly
I remember hating Gates to Infinity (seriously, some of the ideas surrounding basebuilding were cool, but the dialogue+ui is SO fucking tedious I would fall asleep before managing to start a run) so much that I never bothered to finish it, and I skipped SuperMD because of this, but I now have hope for this one.

i don't think so, you'll probably end up underleveled if you ignore it

to farm already beaten dungeons, if you let the autorun decide where to go in a challenging dungeon you will get raped

the games are already harder without the a-attack and the unmovable teammates, you can't cheat the game waiting for restoring hp or switching places with your companion in a corridor when your hp are low
pretty sure the game is balanced
