It's almost as if they planned to split the pokémon between game release and DLC release, to not crunch their staff by trying to get everything in one game. Still missing about 200 though, where's your answer to that? Or are you ignoring they didn't announce a change to company policy on top of announcing older pokémon returning in the other areas of Galar?

The pokemon will free DLC so you no dumbass, it just proves that SWSH was rushed as fuck and they had no time to put more pokemon before christmas.
The fact that Bulbasaur and Squitle were in the code but not its gigantamax forms makes it even more obvious that SWSH was rushed.

Honestly they'll probably be added in a compatibility update when DP remakes launch in 2021. Or when DLC packs 3 and 4 come out. No way they don't get all the Pokemon back when they can keep marketing it as "keep playing our game it has *NEW* content now"!

It is so sad that game freak has 0 incentive to improve due to shills like this and the games probably being the best selling since gen 2 or 3. I've given up on the mainline games at this point but I'll always enjoy the designs which come from it. There isn't a lot I love this time around though. Hope Turner isn't the art director next time.
