Eiscue and Stonjourner contrast with everything. They look really fucking weird, Eiscue especially.
Calyrex is just ugly. It fits, it's just not a good design.
Dragapult, Toxtricity, and Grimmsnarl are all fine.

There has never in the history of this franchise been a rule that pokemon designs need to in any way reflect the place that a region is based on.
Some designs obviously do, like Braviary and Polteageist, but then there's a fucking dinosaur kangaroo in Tokyo.

I get it’s not a strict rule, and creative freedom surpasses strict adherence to a theme in terms of importance and preference, but it’s neat to find and create Pokémon inspired by real life cultures.

Dragapult also looks too much like a stealth bomber
And i don't like how toxtricity is made up of very vibrant purple and yellow. I know that they're complimentary but it comes off too strongly

Speaking of saturation, I wish they'd recolor the older pokemon to match their sprites instead of the Sugimori artwork. The sprites were oversaturated but it invariably looked better, especially for Kantomons.

Also it should be a case by case thing because some pokemon look better when more saturated and others look worse

dragapult is really weird, a bunch of the dex is clearly based on the UK then the pseudo is based on an extinct species found in africa and america, and also an american bomber?
It's not the only mon not overtly based on the UK in the dex and they all seem out of place.
