I really hope it's Toxtricity because he's surprised me by being one of my favorites of this gen.
I pretty much only pull out my Inteleon when I need a water move. It's probably the least-used member of my team.

Toxtricity would be great but honestly if I had to pick a gen 8 starter for smash I'd go with inteleon. I know there's overlap with greninja but I think you could do some cool stuff with the finger guns and other spy gimmicks it has.

I don’t really want more Pokémon in smash but how cool would it have been if Toxtricity (or some other Galar ‘mon) had been revealed via smash? Like imagine a trailer for a DLC fighter, about to pop out of a poke ball, and it winds up being one we had never ever seen before. Could’ve been so cool.

Because we already know that Sakurai chooses whatever he wants based on what he thinks will be cool. Incineroar and Greninja were both cases where he was shown three starters before game was launched and picked the one he found cooler.
