It was the last of the original 150 that I ever caught. I remember I saved next to it and tried for weeks to catch it. I was retarded and was low on Poke Balls + HP + Potions and didn't want to go through the dungeon all over again, so I was just constantly resetting after running out of bals, KOing it, or getting KO'd by it.

Was my second favorite pokemon,after Nidoking, its so majestic and graceful looking, course gardevoir did end up taking the 2 spot eventually. But hey number 3 is still pretty up there.

It's ~1.5% to catch at full health with a regular-ass Ball, so even if it could one-shot everything on your team (i.e., you only have six shots before you have to reset) you'd have an 8.6% chance to get it on your first go-around and nearly a 60% chance of making her yours within your first ten resets.
