>>42514435Correct. Wanna know the difference though? Pokemon are weak. All of them. Every other RPG? Health in the thousands of thousands, weaknesses that aren't that important, status effects that don't work, and so on. The latest challenge of the series, Ultra Necrozma, the super fast buffed destroyer of teams, falls to 5 or 6 casts of the shit move Dragon Rage, if there hypothetically was something that could resist to use it that much. But you get my point. Hell look at Mystery Dungeon. Even that series has to force retarded rules like "you start at lv1 again in this dungeon" to be even remotely challenging. The Pokemon themselves are too weak and "shared with NPC"(if you understand what i mean) compared to any other RPG, which means they're way more expendable and battles are much faster. Final example: Mario SuperStar Saga. The final boss has a few phases, but they got like 300-460 HP. Not much right? Instead it is because in that game the damage you inflict is low, that battle can last an hour. This is not even considering the final boss of the sequel, same thing but much worse.
>>42514464No, i expressed the only way that Pokemon can be hard in
>>42514373 , because otherwise it has too many things the player can use to facilitate itself
