>>42519752No. The campaign was overall incredibly mindnumbing with characters and a "plot" I genuinely could not care less about. It was all so ludicrously easy I never felt engaged during important battles, let alone random trainers. All the towns and routes are so incredibly empty and devoid of anything to do, I would search around desperately for minigames or side content but only find one or two things every couple towns. The only one I even remember is the fucking detective shit in Circhester cause it was a cute little nod to Sherlock Holmes, at least I think it was.
It's just unbelievably empty. There's nothing interesting. There's no heart to it. All it is is the skeletal structure of any Pokemon game rushed out to meet the holiday deadline.
I expected so much more from the first ever mainline home console Pokemon game at first, and when my expectations slowly plummeted to nothing after the ""hype"" season, I still ended up dissapointment with what I got. And I didn't even buy the damn game.
This isn't even getting into my issues with the Wild Area, which is just a myriad of wasted potential that will probably never show up again in another gen. And the """"""postgame""""".
