Why did you preorder it?
I expect I'll probably buy it as well but I'm going to wait until Isle of Armor is out and see how the reception is. I don't really have high standards if I'm being honest - I unironically like SwSh - but I'm still not going to preorder the DLC after the base game turned out to be a rushed mess.

Most people buying it know enough to know if they want it or not. Really, most purchases at this point are either for kids, who will want it no matter what, or from adults who wouldn't care if the new DLC was just a big open field with the 100 Pokemon available to catch running around.

I already said my standards for it are low, but if it isn't a sizeable chunk of content there's a good chance I'll skip it or at least wait until Crown Tundra is out so I can play through both. I don't need to catch 200 "new" pokemon that I'll already have in Home.

Honestly I expect both to be a new Wild Area, with a glorified quest chain showing you around it, with a new town or MAYBE two in each. Armor has a wanna-be Gym experience and Crown has legendary raids. If we're lucky, they'll each have new clothing shops.
