>>42528710>Hypocrisy. That is also subjective. Is he wrong, though? Explain.
>Citation needed.I disagree with him but character focus increased after Gen 1 making Gen 1 character development a little weak by comparison.
>Neither does it automatically make something bad. You have to ask yourself, "Why does this get this much recognition", before weighing whether or not it deserves that recognition, and you have done none of that so far.You ask why it receives so much recognition, nostalgia is why. Does it deserve that recognition? Well it depends on what you mean by “recognition”. Is Gen 1 recognized for being the best, or is it recognized for being the one that everybody remembers because there was a literal time in the franchise’s history called “PokéMania” where the shit was shoved down everyone’s throats?
>Not an argument because you haven't explained why they are better.I’m not sure if that anon was even trying to debunk that part of the post, he was more just stating his opinion in a broad sense. He even ended it with “imo”. Cool down, retard.
>How many people are making bantz about SwSh made record sales even after the Dexit fiasco? If anything, it only reinforces the idea that not every game needs every monster to "get things done."In the original post it said that the franchise only needs 151 to get things done, but for the time the 151 were the entire fucking living dex. Obviously all the monsters are needed to get things done, it’s the reason why Gamefreak is adding in more of the missing Pokémon in a free update despite Masuda saying they wouldn’t do so.
Not to mention Sword/Shield has been panned by any person with a brain. The only thing it got done was make money, but that’s not saying much considering the fact that Pokémon is a money magnet.
