>>42546998My Pokémon folder is arranged using quite strict criteria, but I have to or I'd never find anything because I have over 4Gb of stuff that I've been hoarding since like 2008. This is what works for me- it might not work for you. I have 8 key folders, one for each gen. Remakes go into that gen's folder- so for example I have "1- RBY-FRLG", "2-GSC-HGSS", etc. I then have a 'People' folder and a 'Pokémon' folder, so art is arranged by where the focus of the art is.
Within the gen folder, I might then have a specific game folder for the third version (so my gen 3 folder has Emerald and ORAS-specific folders, I have a Platinum-specific folder in my gen 4 folder, etc.) Individual Pokémon or people get their own folder if I like them enough (for example, this gen I have folders for Gordie, Mr Kabu, Piers, Leon and Raihan.
If the art has characters from more than one gen in it, that goes into my Mixed Gen folder (which is a huge mess.)
I do have other folders within my Pokémon folder, but the gen folders are the most important and well-curated ones, because the games are the primary canon that I'm interested in.
