I knew I wouldn’t have as much luck as those who managed to get shinies in less than 50 or something eggs, hence why I limited my shiny hatching session to not last more than an hour, to prevent frustration and prioritize my college studies. If I still had time to kill, I’d just joins raids or battles in-between.

But even those countermeasures are beginning to bust! I’ve followed the Masuda Method procedure, got myself a Shiny Charm, and hatched an average of 60 Eevee eggs per day for about two weeks now, and I’ve yet to get a single shiny after hatching 840 eggs! My classmate has only beaten the Grass gym since she got the game, and yet, she has about more than two dozen shinies now and frequently shows me the newest one she just got.

I don’t mean to envy those who can easily shiny hint, but come on, even reducing the shiny:normal ratio as much as possible doesn’t seem to help.
