I mean it’s silhouette is literally just a regular palm tree and I love it. Plus the design is pretty well thought-out too. It gains a tail to balance out the empty space toward the bottom of its body and help it look more draconic, as well as making sense from an evolutionary standpoint to help with balance and getting another head to help defend a newfound weaker point and blindspot. And the pokedex mentions Exeggutor originally came from the tropics so it’s not like this was even unprecedented.
Something always felt incomplete, stubby, and underwhelming about the original exeggutor. To me the alolan form is just flat out better- even beat Moon with one on my team. My only problem with it is my autism about regional variants that don’t have the full line as a variant. Exeggcute could have easily looked like long dinosaur eggs or dragon eggs or both.
