2018 game
-Yellow remake
-one version has pikachu as a starter, other has eevee
-starters cannot evolve but have some special moves
-features different protagonists
-grid-based world, many things simplified for kids
-forced exp share
-only 151 pokemon
-no GTS

2019 game
-over half of all pokemon removed, some will be sold back as DLC
-megas, some moves, etc. also removed
-new gimmick that makes the pokemon big
-same linear structure as sun/moon
-features an open-world "wild area"
-forced exp share
-no GTS still, will be in a separate paid app (different from bank)

No one cares dextranny. Pokemon have never been considered serious content until some of them got removed.

Hidden power would make Dynamax busted and megas were the biggest mistake in the franchise

Bigger=better. Unless you just see King Kong as "just some giant, unoriginal ape"

You still have 6 million ways to make your own game difficult. The portable PC nullifies the need for an exp share as if a game gets too easy, you can just rotate your team

No one cares. The GTS was a mistake that we are all still suffering from thanks to all the hackmons it flooded the community with.

not every one of them exaggerate a part of the body to fit the theme and in the same way not every mega is edgy

90% megas just fit into overdesigned and edgy. The ones that don't are the only ones that are work are the ones that you can barely see a change in. Meanwhile more gigantamax have a whole differ concept that works with the whole "tall pokemon" aspect and actually understands why a design is good in order to build off the areas of that part.
