>>42560551>or they just straight-up lied about the reasons to cover their own asses, be it out of incompetence or greedImagine being so retarded that you're amazed that companies lie. Nintendo lies, Sony lies, indie devs lie, Bethesda lies and yes even Gamefreak.
Companies will regularly say they have no plans on porting games to other systems, WHILE LITERALLY HAVING PLANS IN MOTION TO PORT THE GAME TO ANOTHER SYSTEM.
They do this for several reasons.
1. They don't want the people who currently have access to buying the game to not buy it, and exlusivity is a big deal for some people.
2. They actively want to wait until the initial hype has died down, so that they can build it back up again when they announce something thats getting added later, to rekindle interest.
This is not companies being evil, it's strictly busniness.
I literally can't believe low IQ fucks on this board believe everything gamefreak or other companies say, or take it personally when it turns out it wasn't true.
And for the record, they didn't add Pokemon back because of the pathetic outcry from a minority of people that had 0 effect on sword and shields stellar as fuck sales. As we saw from the trailer, they've got 2 enormous area already fucking done, mapped out and implemented for the most part. This was clearly their intention all along and any info they fed us was intentionally misleading to hold out until they announced this shit themselves.
What good is a brand new area to explore in a Pokemon gamee if all of the Pokemon you can catch are the same as in areas you can already visit? Riddle me that. There would be next to no fucking incentive to buy the DLC if that were the case
>Look we have a whole other area to explore!>Oh cool! What can I find there? New Pokemon?>No lol, but there's some new TMs you can find and a few new NPC's to battleObviously I'm making an extreme as fuck example here but without the old pokemon + new gigantamax forms + a few NEW pokemon, who would care
