Game Freak’s world building is at its best when they’re making warm and exotic locations, such as Alola.

A Mediterranean region would nice, maybe southern Italy.

Personlly I think they should stop focusing on real life locations, they spend too much time thinking how to transform those real life places and locations so they make sense with pokemon instead of focusing on level design
