Because they were decent. Plenty of flaws, but still good enough. People who liked SM know it's good and don't need to defend it.
SwSh is fucking garbage and I think even the shills and paypigs know it deep down. They're not just trying to justify it to other people, but also trying to justify it to themselves.

I think a lot of SM fans, especially on this board, are also just willing to accept the flaws. The only debate that really gets heated is map debate. SwishSwosh though is a case of full remorse with people where they don't want to admit it's shit so they double down. How anyone can shill and defending something like Home Premium is absolutely beyond my understanding.
