Even if you couldn't do that due to whatever limitation is stopping you, everything on the battlefield would be perfectly visible anyway thanks to the different camera angles that zoom in and out of stuff constantly. Not to mention that the Switch's screen is roughly twice as big as that of a N2DS XL, with a way better resolution.
And you're already fighting giant Pokemon with tiny Pokemon in SwSh. There's no excuse.
