GSC Victory Road was a boring empty-ass cave with a single trainer battle at the end. The routes leading up to it were based, but the last leg of the journey to the league was a massive letdown.

In all honesty, I never thought Alola's routes were bad, but even I thought Mount Lanakila in SM was disappointing. At least they fixed it in USUM.

Based af, black and white had the best victory road. For the first time they actually managed to make it feel fresh, with suspenseful music and a truly explorable lay out. I dont even hate other victory roads, not even sinnoh's HM infested one.

I miss how they slowed down the MIDI with every level so the music gets subtly slower and deeper as you descend further into the cave.
