You literally started the game by betraying you gang, blowing the hell out of their base with C4, and stealing shit from them, and riding into the sunset on your motorcycle with your Espeon and Umbreon in the sideseat. Fucking metal. Everything else just kinda happens because you have nothing better to do: Orre such a shithole that teenage girls get kidnapped in broad daylight, you just happen to save your "Partner", and just go with the flow as you go thru the game. Beating the evil team isn't personal, you're not even doing it because it's the right thing to do, this is just what wes does on a thursday afternoon. Wes would have resurrected Cipher and been their new boss in GoD, but GS cucked out on that front, real shame. GoD was still a great game, a perfect pokemon game, in a way, wish every single game after emerald had the same quality, only platinum, hgss and black/white 2 succeeded it imho

I would love a region that is mostly composed of desert pokemon, with a few "normal" pokemon caught in the few grassy, green areas found in the country side for good measure
