Pokemon should not "end" after gen 9. They should just stop treating the game as different generations.

Just make a big-ass open world game with all the pokemon from all the gens.

Honestly it should have ended with gen 3 and continued as mystery dungeon. That game blew the main series out of the water.

Pokemon should have been taken from gamefreak right then and there. They weren't meeting the nintendo standard

Agreed, they can add new regions. Say you have to pass the newest region's gyms before they can bring their uber powered bros over, but until then use the newer pokemon. National dex a must.

All Pokemon needs is a good company that will actually respect it and its fanbase. Give it to Monolith as they can make quality games. While GameFreak made great Pokemon games in the past, it is obvious that they are just milking the franchise dry to get every cent from consumers as possible.

Now that adding new mons midgen is supposed to be a common things, I think the concept of "generation" might actually disappear in the next years. Instead we'll get a big batch in one game and then a new mons added to the game every few months.
