So much is weird with this. Why is dialga so cucked? Why is eternabeam literally just worse than prismatic laser the gen before? Did they really feel that having both 160 bp and 100 accuracy was broken? If sirfetched gets a slightly better hyper beam why not buff rock wrecker as well?

Also, this discussion makes me realize how random and off-kilter Primarina's signatures are.
A water-type sound-based move that heals burns on things it hurts, and an ability that makes sound moves water type with no other effect feels so weirdly inelegant and disjointed somehow.

Probably won't fix it balancing-wise, but maybe Dark Void could be a regular 80% accuracy sleep move, with the extra effect of Yawning the other Pokemon if the user is Dark type.

That takes you to +4 crit rate, when all you need is +3 to guarantee a critical hit (unless Gen VIII nerfed crits again). Focus Energy Scope Lens Scald with Sniper is straight-up better at that point (in singles, anyway) and Nasty Plot Life Orb [move] would be markedly stronger regardless of Ability.
Too bad Inteleon doesn't learn Nasty Plot

oh yeah definitly worse than speed control thats why i was thinking once we get the gmax depending on how meta shifts with it

Accelerock makes contact, one of only three Rock-type moves to do so. It's a tackle, not a projectile.

Still makes a ton of sense on Rhyperior, though, since it could move fast in a straight line as a Rhyhorn and potentially launch itself by firing its arm cannons backwards as a Rhyperior.

It would make sense for Rhyhorn to learn it, not so much for Rhydon and Rhyperior, though I see no reason as to why it can't just be a pre-evo exclusive move that you can then keep when it evolves.

As for why it's Dark-type, neither Water nor Rock would make much sense for it, and they probably intend on giving it to other mons later down the line anyways.
