I do like some Alolan Pokemon, although at a much lower rate of good:bad than any other previous gen, even the starters (until their final forms were leaked, I should have just aborted and not bought the game when I saw those things), but all that said it's a shame because bros like Golisopod and Oranguru I'm afraid I'll never get to raise because they'll never, ever be featured in a good Pokemon game worth playing.
Galar is just pathetic. GF already went on record saying Pokemon will no longer be designed with any artistic intent or trying to design an interesting monster, but will instead be mostly objects/anthropomorphs because drawing them in the show and designing toys is easier. Alola and Galar are the fucking definition of soulless.
