Hangry Pikaclone has base 95/97 Attack/Speed and a 110 base power 100 accuracy STAB exclusive move that changes type every turn from electric to dark based on its form

The move also raises its speed. So you can Band/Life Orb it and switch ins have to be on the right turn or they get fucked by getting hit by the other STAB. If they're too obvious, it also gets Seed Bomb for Ground types, all the Fangs (even Super and Psychic), Fake-Out, Parting Shot, hell, even Rapid Spin.

I don't use Cramorant, but I could see its ability being useful enough to warrant seeing use. It does a surprising amount of damage and also provides a free defense nerf/paralysis. I also wouldn't be surprised if its popularity played a role in it squeaking into UU

No one should give a shit about Smogon rules on the Switch unless you agreed to the rules with your opponent prior to the match. If you're just playing randoms online, you are absolutely retarded if you try to play by Smogon rules as everyone else is playing whatever the game will let them. Smogon rules have become completely irrelevant to the actual games now that GF has implemented an actual online mode and ranking system (as jank as it may be); Smogon is now more fanfic than ever as the rules only apply to the fanfic simulator

Other anons got p much close. Cram’s defensive typing and its ability that punishes attackers with either damage, or the better option, paralysis, can be decently abusable and an option for Defog.
Morpeko has a 110 stab attack that raises speed and changes typing, which is like a twofer one while also making u very hard to revenge kill. Add Parting Shot and Rapid Spin utility with decent coverage and it can easily support teams in a couple of rolls.

coalossal main set isn't offensive, it's support based. Retards are using spin, rocks/spikes, overheat and stone edge, which isn't a good set in UU by any means. Some also use will o wisp to get the guaranteed burn instead of waiting until flame body procs, but the set is really bad in such a fast meta as UU, where Coalossal air balloon will get immediately popped and then get rekt by any water move. The fact that it needs to choose between boots to alleviate its stealth rock weakness, and balloon to prevent folding to any ground coverage makes it even worse.

they aren't good, they're C and C- rank respectively in the viability thread. They just can do something very well - spin and defog, with an usual stat drop (parting shot) and a paralysis (surf under 50% hp) added on top that adds some value. Expect them to drop to RU this month or the next.
