They're on too tight a schedule to sit spinning their wheels waiting to see if DLC is popular, before moving forward. Or they run more DLC, but launch a new game in November anyway. I mean, it's cute you ignore the rest of the franchise, but that's why Game Freak do what they do in spite of you.
