>>42653033Actually, Psychic and Normal have both been diminished to bottom 5 types along with Rock, Ice, and Bug in my assessment. Dark and Fighting are doing comparatively okay.
>DarkThis type actually got buffed by the V-VI exchange since it can now hit Steel-types neutrally, got a huge buff to Knock Off, and is the best type that resists Ghost-type moves. It's also immune to Prankster now, which is fantastic. I wouldn't put it up with broken garbage like Fairy, Water, and Steel, but it's probably top 5 material at this point, competing with Ground and Flying for a spot.
>FightingIt's way off its oppressive Gen V peak, but hitting Steel for Super-Effective damage is still valuable and having a shitton of hard-hitting STABs to choose from is as important as ever. The rise of Poison-types alongside the Fairies has been an issue, but most Fighting-types got the aforementioned Knock Off and benefited greatly from the newfound ability to severely punish Psychic and Ghost-types. Overall it's become a mid-tier type, maybe 8th to 10th or so out of the 18.
