SwSh may be disappointing as fuck, but it was undeniably better than SM/USUM. Ever since Gen 3 the quality of the mainline games has been progressively decreasing with every subsequent generation, so it's uplifting to see any improvement, however slight. Off the top of my head, the only things the Alola games did better were the female character designs, narrative elements, and (arguably) the music. And of course the full Nat Dex.

Taking an educated guess based on the information currently available, I'd say the following are most likely for future releases:
>Pokemon: Let's Go 2 (2020~2022)
>Pokemon: D/P Remakes (2021~2023)
>Continued DLC support for SwSh (2020~2022)
>Pokemon: "SuperSword" & "SuperShield" Complete copies of SwSh with all previously released DLC and some extra stuff exclusive to this 3rd version (2022~2023)
>Pokemon: Gen 9 (2022~2026)

Of these hypothetical releases, which do you think has the best chance to be good? If there is a Let's Go 2, will it be better than LGPE or worse? GF has recently stated they aren't too keen on remakes; will this influence the likelihood of Gen 4 remakes? Will Gen 9 continue the upward trend of Gen 8? How large of a step up will it be?
