Whats the point of Mythical Pokemon?

>Can't use them in ANY Battle Facilities
>Can't use them in VGC format
>Can't use them in official tournaments
>Extremely difficult to get legitimately
>Even if you did, they were tied at the time to "gamestop" and didn't have your trainer ID

Funny enough the only way to use Mythical Pokemon in serious battles is on showdown.

Even Legendary Pokemon are treated with more respect and are even allowed to be used in VGC.

Someone EXPLAIN this BULLSHIT
