Not really? The TCG has nothing to do with pokemon home at all. We're probably not going to see home drop until the first DLC comes out.

Home is pretty much worthless till the DLC comes out, so it'd only make sense to wait till then when it offers something new.

There's the 35 that are already coded into SWSH that will be transferable as soon as Home drops. Plus I assume they'll add regular Slowpoke.

Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Mewtwo, Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Musketeers, Kyurem trio, Cosmog, Necrozma, Marshadow, Zeraora, and Meltan.

Plus yeah the Alolan Forms of Pokemon already in SWSH.

actually those are all weird choices aside from Mew, Meltan, and the Kanto starters, but somehow Marshadow and Zeraora seem extra weird

and is it JUST Cosmog or the whole Cosmog family?

It's interesting that of all the box legendary duos/trios, they chose the two with a fusion mechanic. AFAIK there's no dialogue in the game indicating a NPC who gives you the fusion key items, so presumably there'll be a patch.

Also interesting that they're making a big deal out of Galarian Slowbro/Slowking, and Slowbro is the OG fusion Pokemon.

Oh, that's a good point. It does look like G-Slowking has a Koffing on his head, which is a pretty significant change from the default and will have to be addressed one way or another.
I feel like they've been wanting to make fusion a major mechanic for a while but haven't been able to figure out a good way to do it. Maybe they finally figured it out and the Necrozma fusions in USUM were them saying "hey, remember this mechanic? so do we ;)"

You get them from the bargain bin at Stow-on-Side with Kyurem and Necrozma in your party apparently.

There's not even any dialogue in the code that prompts this- he just gives all the fusion items to you.
