I actually forgot about that, but that poll was heavily skewed due to the fact that the winner was going to be distributed, and the poll was filled with mostly legendaries and mythicals as a result (though Greninja still won which is pretty interesting). I guess its not as definitive as I claimed, but I'm still extremely confident Charizard will win, especially when its split between Generations

Charizard gets shilled because it makes money. People that buy Pokémon merch are Pokémon fans, and if Charizard sells the most merch, then GF pushing it is catering to the majority of people.
