Is there any reason whatsoever for this Pokemon to even exist anymore? Urshifu is basically the same thing but is a legendary with an alternate form.

I actually had some success using this guy in doubles trick room, he hits really fucking hard and he's faster than a lot of conventional trick room abusers when it wears off in case you're against another trick roomer.

Useful. False Swipe, Entrainment, Thief, and Scrappy to hit ghosts. If you want just one pokemon to catch everything, it's Pangoro. Also its hat in X and Y is the only good piece of appearance customization ever.

Why do people say shit like "If it is outclassed it might as well not exist"?
If we followed that mindset there'd be only a few dozen Pokemon at most, plus thinking only in terms of competitive viability is pretty lame. People can like a Pokemon based solely on concept/design. And considering Pangoro has a better design than Ursahifu, it should still exist.

Zard went right back to being a shitmon the second megas were cut. But when those are available Charizard is a decent choice for the wildcard of 2 megas which are both good and have completely different counters. He does have a decent movepool for abusing dynamax but who doesn’t.

Urshifu is based on a different type of bear. And Pangoro existed for two generations and more than six years before. As for the typing, well, if you have problems with four Fighting/Dark Pokemon, there are dozens of pure Water types.
