But LGPE has even less post game content, less pokémon to complete the Pokédex and not even a battle tower (also basically no reason to play online besides trading since there is no competitive scene for those games)

But LGPE took content that was in the franchise since the very beggining, like wild battles, and took some things that gave the combat system some depth, like abilities and held items
People hates SWSH for it's difficulty, but LGPE is as easy if not easier than SWSH
Why people tries to defend LGPE? it manages to be worse than Sw/Sh and that is really something, and don't come with "uhh it's just a spin off" because those games are exactly like main-line games but with less content than anything that came out before, and it's still 60$ dollars. Fuck off, battle backgrounds alone don't make LGPE better than SWSH. Besides, visuals are one of the least important things when it comes to video games
