Safari Zone but the Safari Balls have a general increased catch rate
You also have the Warden side quest from FRLG and as thanks for finding his teeth he gives you a King Safari Ball that will 100% catch any Pokemon in the Safari Zone, like a Master Ball but for Safari Zone shinies

Distinguishable shinies in the overworld, like in LGPE.

The best part is seeing how the NPC teams develop over the game. Rematching early game trainers in particular is satisfying.

defeated trainers level up to your level each day. progressing the plot may give them a new pokémon, possibly change hold items or moves, and have them call you for a rematch. eventually gym leaders and E4 will have six level 100s with held items and good movesets.
