Gigantamax is kind of stupid, but Dynamax is actually great. It fixes the distribution problems of mega evolution, the over the top power problems of z moves, and the "you have to pick the user before hand" problem of both. Knowing which Pokemon to dynamax and when can take some getting used to, but once you do it feels great.
