Toxtricity, for instance, is a Pokemon based on a musician. Technician in Japanese is literally the romanji for technician. Music technicians exist. So Toxtricity with Technician record the music for other Toxtricity.
Toxtricity Amped has Plus because it is positive (both in attitude and the type of electricity it has), and Low Key has Minus because it is negative (both in attitude and the type of electricity it has). And Punk Rock is already self-explanatory.
