it just happens because its technically a newly added dex entry and gamefreaks retarded coders fucked it up so its type defaults to the last in line, which is eternatus

I just checked and it's fucking weird, if you switch languages with a normal mon it does nothing, if you do it with a Gigantamax you don't have registered (meant you have the model but can't see its data and description because you didn't use it in a battle yet) and switch languages nothing happens either, but if it's a Gigantamax you have and switch languages the pokemon will be poison dragon even if you switch back to the other language

It does, and even in higher scale software, a bug like this wouldn’t be found.
It wouldn’t even happen in something like Fallout 76 or pre-patch NMS

literally I opened up my pokedex for this in shield and couldn't get it to happen on corviknight, eevee, sandaconda, or duraludon (don't have any others with multiple languages) so idek what this is

Follow the steps (if you already have your dex opened then close it and start over again)
>open menu
>select pokedex
>press "order pokemon by..."
>select order them by heigh or weight, it doesn't matter if it's from > to < or vice verse
>select a gigamax you have registered (text entry included) and in more than one language
>change language
>enjoy your Poison-Dragon Gigantamax
If it doesn't work try with other "order by height/weight" option, I know it works with a few but not the others
