Making it so that gimmicks can't be used outside of their home region is retarded. It's just a bad excuse for GF to not carry over Z-Moves and Dynamax after their generations.

They said that Mega Evolution happens first in Kalos with that being Lucario then it gets retconned to work and happened in Hoenn first. It’s a mess, GF just covering their tracks.
