Pardon me, but there seems to be a flood of hacked raids involving hidden legendaries in Sword/Shield.

I presume that GF will track down anyone who caught these things, even if they didn’t personally inject it in?

Well, because they planned for those legendaries to return already, but not before the Crown Tundra DLC arrives.
I could also go into length about the legal issues here, most of which are bogus yet can still be enforcedz

They'll get to the hosts eventually but I don't think they'll bother banning people who actually took part in the raid/caught them. They wouldn't want to ban little Timmy from playing online anymore because he unknowingly joined a hacked raid and caught something he shouldn't have.
