Basically have you had a Pokemon in a playthrough of any of the games that really carried your entire team, pic related did most recently for me in Platinum, cleaned house of most of the E4 and could go toe-to-toe with Cynthia's Garchomp.

Last time before that was a Lumineon in Sun that I don't even know why it did as well as it did but really helped out when I was basically running 5 Pokemon because the sixth was Rampardos.
