>>42688873>For Shelmet, it's because it would've had to lose its Steel type after losing its shell, and a Pokemon has never evolved from dual type to monotype since Bellossom.I think it would be fun to explore this concept some more. Just keep it restricted to the really common type combos (4+ lines) because otherwise I think you'd piss off a lot of people for losing a cool type combo.
>Bug/SteelRetcon Shelmet's typing. What's there to lose?
>Steel/RockAlready sort of happened with Mega Aggron.
>Normal/Flying, Bug/Flying, Water/Flying, Dragon/FlyingEasy; a bird, bug, or dragon that damages its wings or otherwise becomes unable to fly. I think this works really well for an elder dragon. Also maybe a Cramorant evo that gets too fat to fly, or a bug that had its wings damaged by a cruel kid.
>Rock/WaterEither a split evolution for Binacle that goes solo and floats in the water (based on a buoy barnacle) (Rock/Water -> pure Water) or a fossilmon based on early tetrapods (Rock/Water -> Water).
>Psychic/FairyProbably the hardest to come up with a concept for since both types are fairly abstract and not well defined. Maybe a good fairy that turns into an evil witch (Psychic/Fairy -> Psychic) or a cliche wand-using fairy that loses its wand (Fairy/Psychic -> Fairy).
>Bug/PoisonActually this one's even harder...is there a bug that's only poisonous or venomous as a larva?
